my best level is only level 6 tho, the difficulty ramps up pretty fast ( only got good runs when i got the discount ticket)
the details in the game are pretty cool, love the rock gets a bit smaller to indicate depth, and lets not forget the slugcat cameo in the shop lol
if theres something that i would like to improve, it would be the cursor size is slightly too small and the "Next Level " button can be place is a more center location, it would probably feel more fun if mining have some particle effect, like dirt flying out (if your engine or framework supports particles)
also it would be neat to have more powerups that are related to revealing information about the dirt , maybe like a gold detector? you sometime waste mining a whole stack of tile and it doesn't give you enough money
while the balance may be a bit weird I can recommend you to try to get the evolved forms of the tools (at least this is how i got very far anyway). But i will lower the difficulty a bit still.
I could put the next level button in the middle but in case you missed you can still continue mining after you reach the goal (which i recommend) so it might obscure some tiles you want to hit. I was also planning on adding effects like tiles showing the money they give upon breaking but couldn't figure it out but i might tackle it some time.
Also if you get the health and damage up for the pickaxe you can get its evolved form "detector" from the shop which allows pickaxe to show the tile under the current one by right clicking.
