Maskuerade

Maskuerade is a 2D platformer with masks that give different abilities to the player while also acting as the health of them.

There are 3 golden mask pieces in each level which adds optional difficulty to the game. Loss of some masks do not inherently prevent the player from progressing through the level but it does make some golden mask pieces unobtainable that can be resolved with restarting the level. 

 There are 4 mask types:

Snail: Does not have any special ability only provides health

Ladybug: Gives the ability to double jump to the player

Mouse: Makes the player size smaller and increases their speed while lowering their jump height

Tiki: Makes the player fall slower

Tips: Because the changes from the masks are instantaneous it is possible to chain the effects of the masks during motion
